(KTRS) – A lockdown is over at Belleville East High School after a police chase ended on the school’s campus.

School officials say that police were engaged in a chase, when two suspects hopped out of their vehicle on the campus and tried to run from officers. Both suspects were captured and the lockdown was issued as a precaution. We do not know why the chase started at this time.
