(KTRS) – One man is under arrest connected to the murder of a three-year-old girl in Jefferson County.
Prosecutors charged William Harris with abuse of a child resulting in death and he is held on a half-million dollar bond. Aubrey Harvey’s mother found the girl’s body in their Barnhart home Monday evening. Police say that Aubrey had not been shot or stabbed, but there were signs of trauma to her body.
The Post-Dispatch reports that Harris was the live-in boyfriend of Aubrey’s mother and may have been high on a combination of heroin and Nyquil at the time of the killing.
