( KTRS ) A man wanted by Alton, IL police is in custody.

Authorities says 29 yr old Larry Northcutt is a “person of interest” in connection with a homicide investigation. 29 yr old Christopher Gernigin, was found dead near the Clark Bridge early Saturday morning.

The Alton Police Department did not say how Northcutt was apprehend, but made a brief post on its Facebook page, early this morning saying that he was in police custody.
