Ballwin, MO  (KTRS)  Officer Mike Flamion will be honored during a special ceremony this evening, where he will be presented with the The Law Enforcement Purple Heart and The Medal of Valor.

The 31-year-old officer was left paralyzed after being shot during a traffic stop back in July.The ceremony was originally slated to take place at the Ballwin Board of Aldermen meeting, but was moved to the Pointe at Ballwin Commons to accommodate an anticipated larger crowd.

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
