( KTRS ) Ballwin Police Officer Michael Flamion is in Colorado receiving treatment at a hospital that specializes in spinal cord injuries.

Officer Flamion has been paralysed from the neck down since July 8th when he was shot while conducting a traffic stop. He is still on a ventilator and feeding tube

A procession of officers, friends, and family escorted Flamion to Spirit of St. Louis Airport Wednesday.

Antonio Taylor, 31, the man accused of shooting Flamion, had his bond doubled to $1 million this week and is due back in court next month.
