( KTRS ) North County police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred, the day after Christmas.

Saturday around noon officers from the North County Precinct responded to the Neighbors Credit Union located at 11899 New Halls Ferry rd for a report of an armed robbery.

Authorities say an unknown black male, about 5’6” tall, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, checkered pajama pants, a red backpack, and white rubber gloves walked into the bank with a rifle and demanded money. The suspect then left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash in an unknown direction.

The investigation is ongoing.
