St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  The New Life Evangelistic Center is displaying a new piece of artwork.

A dedication ceremony was held on Thanksgiving Day of a statute of Jesus sleeping on a bench. This life size statue was created by Canadian artist Timothy Schmalz.

Prior to the ceremony, 250 volunteers served a Thanksgiving Dinner to the homeless at the shelter.  Gifts of care kits, gloves, hats and shoes  were also distributed along with utility bill assistance.
