( KTRS ) A St. Louis man now faces additional federal charges in a September robbery shooting that wounded and potentially paralyzed a U.S. Army veteran out of Busch Stadium in downtown St. Louis.
A federal grand jury on Wednesday indicted Kilwa Jones on seven felony counts including robbery and assault on federal property, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime, and being a felon with a firearm. Jones has already been charged with assault, robbery and armed criminal action.
Authorities allege Jones shot Christopher Sanna. Sanna’s mother says doctors have told the family her son will probably never walk again.
Jones’ attorney, Scott Rosenblum, says his client will plead not guilty.
