(KTRS) – The Gary Sinise Foundation is spearheading plans to build a “smart home” for Ballwin Police Officer Michael Flamion.
The group wants to build a home that will be adapted to Flamion’s new needs–he was shot and paralyzed during a traffic stop in July. The foundation has previously modified Chris Sanna’s home after he too was shot and paralyzed in 2015. Flamion continues to receive treatment at a Colorado hospital that specializes in spinal cord injuries.
