New Florence, MO  (KTRS)  A suspect wanted in five murders is in custody.

Authorities say Pablo Antonio Serrano-Vitorino was found at just after midnight hiding in a ditch just north of I-70 near Route 19 in Montgomery County, Missouri. Police were alerted of his whereabouts after he allegedly confronted someone at gunpoint.

Serrano-Vitorino has already been charged with four murders in Kansas City, Kansas and is suspected of one murder in New Florence, Missouri.

Authorities say he was in this country illegally after being deported several years ago.
