(KTRS) – The murder total is climbing again this year in St. Louis County.

Already, ten more people have been killed in the county this year than all of 2014. And the county has eleven more murders in 2016 that were slain this time last year. St. Louis City is seeing a slight decline from last year’s murder total with nine fewer murders so far this year.

But 2015 represented the highest murder total in the city in 20 years.
