Montgomery County, MO  (KTRS)  The murder suspect who was the subject of a massive manhunt is hospitalized after a suicide attempt.

Authorities say Pablo Antonio Serrano-Vitorino used a safety razor to cut himself yesterday morning. He is said to be in stable condition.

Serrano-Vitorino is charged with four murders in Kansas and one in Missouri.

Meanwhile, the family of a Missouri man who authorities allege was one of five victims  killed by Serrano-Vitorino  say they want answers about why the suspect was even in the U.S.

Randy Nordman’s family issued a statement saying that if  Serrano-Vitorino had been detained and deported after several brushes with the law last year, Nordman might still be alive.
