Maryland Heights, MO (KTRS) Missouri’s gubernatorial candidates continue to hit the campaign trail as the race winds down. Eric Greitens held a town hall meet and greet Monday afternoon at the Sheraton Westport Plaza Hotel in Maryland Heights.
The G-O-P candidate says he wants to drive this message home to the undecided voters. “If you’re ready to take Missouri in a new direction, we’re ready. Our mission is pretty simple, it’s more jobs and higher pay, safe streets and better schools for the people of Missouri. My opponent by contrast, is corrupt, career Clinton-style politician.” said Greitens.
Meanwhile, the Chris Koster campaign is firing back at the Grietens’ campaign.
“Being lectured on ethics by Eric Greitens is like getting advice about fire prevention from an arsonist,” said David Turner, a campaign spokesman. “He has run the least transparent, most hypocritical campaign in Missouri history. He is unethical and unprepared for the state’s highest office.”
Koster also is held a campaign event Monday afternoon at Boeing.
