( KTRS ) The Missouri State Highway Patrol is looking to hire new troopers, if they can pass certain criteria.

Everyone is encouraged to apply but serious candidates won’t be accepted unless they possess a minimum of 30 college credits, have previous active duty military service, served in the military police or meet other standards.

Candidates will then be tested on physical fitness, have a background check, take a lie detector test and finally, pass medical and psychological examinations.
