(KTRS) – The Missouri Legislature is debating statewide regulations for ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft.
Uber management in Missouri says statewide rules would allow them to expand to several new cities, like Springfield, Jefferson City, and St. Charles. They already operate in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Columbia. Similar proposals stalled out in the legislature last year. This year, Uber has 11 lobbyists working in Missouri.
