(KTRS) – Missouri House Speaker Todd Richardson says a committee will investigate ballot issues in Tuesday’s election that may have led to voters not being able to vote.

In a release, Richardson said that ballot shortages at dozens of polling places forced officials to turn away potential voters. He also said that a court order extending voting hours was not issued until some poll workers had gone home for the day.
