(KTRS) – A controversial bill concerning abortion rights in Missouri is under fire for its name.

The so-called “All Lives Matter Act” would define personhood as beginning at the moment of conception. The bill would effectively outlaw abortion in Missouri. Opponents of the bill say the title of the bill co-opts the Black Lives Matter slogan.

The All Lives Matter Act was sponsored by state Representative Mike Moon.
