( KTRS ) Authorities are investigating an Easter Morning homicide.

Around 6 am, Sunday morning, officers with the North County Precinct responded to a shooting in the 10400 of Duke. On arrival police found a 41 yr old man with multiple gun shot wounds, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators report that an unknown person broke into the victim’s home through the front door and shot the victim multiple times.

Police do not believe this was a robbery “gone wrong” as no property inside the home appeared to be disturbed. The St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons is conducting the investigation.
