(KTRS) – St. Louis Police say that a cab driver was shot and killed during an attempted robbery.

Officers found the driver’s body shortly after 10 a.m. in the Central West End near the intersection of Laclede and Kingshighway. Investigators say the driver had been shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
