( KTRS ) A man was found fatally shot in the Greater Ville neighborhood Monday night.

Authorities report that officers responded to the 4400 block of Lexington just before 10pm for a call of shots fired. Upon arrival the man was found not breathing with a gunshot wound to the head.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate.

No further details have been released.
