( KTRS ) A man was struck and killed on HWY 270 early Sunday morning.

Police report that a vehicle was stalled in the southbound lanes near 44 yesterday and two men were attempting to move it to the shoulder when they were struck by an oncoming vehicle.

59 yr old Charles Boyd of Arnold was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other person, 32 yr old Robert Boyd, was rushed to hospital but his current condition is unknown at this time.

The driver of the other vehicle was also injured and taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
