St. Louis, MO (KTRS) A 25-year-old man and his 6-year-old daughter have been shot near an elementary school in St. Louis.

Reports say the two were shot in the leg Wednesday night near Lucier Park and Hamilton Elementary School in the Skinker DeBaliviere neighborhood. Authorities say both victims were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.

Police say the suspect fled the scene in a car. An investigation is ongoing.
