Fairview Heights, IL  (KTRS)  The Major Case Squad is investigating after a shooting at a metro-east apartment complex left one man dead and injured another.

Investigators say this happened at around 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Ashley Drive in Fairview Heights. Both victims were taken to the hospital, where one later died.  There’s no word on the condition of the other victim.

There’s no word on suspects or a motive. The names of the victims haven’t been released.
