OVERLAND, Mo. (AP) _ Someone out there is holding a Powerball ticket worth $1 million purchased in suburban St. Louis.
The Missouri Lottery says a ticket bought at a Quick Mart store in the Overland area matched all five white-ball numbers: 2, 3, 16, 48 and 56. It is the 42nd time a Missouri Lottery Powerball player has won a $1 million “Match 5” prize.
Missouri Lottery director May Scheve Reardon says the winner should sign the back and keep the ticket in a safe place until claiming the prize at a Lottery office in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Springfield or Kansas City. The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing _ that is, until April 24 _ to claim the prize.
