(KTRS) – Missouri lawmakers are renewing calls for the University of Missouri to fire assistant professor Melissa Click.

The Post-Dispatch reports that Senator Kurt Schaefer said a recent video showing Click confronting officers, demonstrates that she is “unstable”. He continued, saying that the university has more than enough reason to fire her.

As far as what has to happen for the university to actually terminate Click, that is a process that must begin with someone filing a formal complaint with college officials. That would start a separate investigation into how, or if, she should be disciplined.
