(KTRS) – Governor Bruce Rauner hopes that a new group will streamline the government’s response issues surrounding young people across Illinois.

The governor signed an order creating the Governor’s Cabinet on Children and Youth. Rauner says the group will work to coordinate all state entities that deal with children. The State Secretary of Education applauds the move, saying the current system is fragmented.
