(KTRS) – It appears the plan for a short-term budget fix in Illinois, is dead.

Democratic lawmakers say they will not discuss Governor Bruce Rauner’s plan to fund schools and some social service agencies and leave other issues for later.

Republicans worry that Democrats will instead move ahead with a budget plan that is not balanced. The legislative session Tuesday tonight.
