St. Louis, MO (KTRS) A homeless man is facing charges with dealing the synthetic drug known as K2 in downtown St. Louis.
Fifty-six-year-old John Darryel White has been charged with a felony count of delivery or manufacture of an imitation controlled substance. Last month hundreds of people, mostly the homeless, had overdosed on K2.
Police say a surveillance camera showed White in a suspected drug deal outside the New Life Evangelistic Center in early November. At least two other people have been arrested on suspicion of possessing or distributing synthetic drugs last month in the same area.
It isn’t clear if the others will be charged.
