St. Louis, MO (KTRS) Millions of dollars have been spent on the campaigns of Missouri’s four G-O-P gubernatorial candidates.
The “St. Louis Post Dispatch” reports that the campaign total among the candidates comes to more than $22-millionover the past 18 months, which appears to be a Missouri record for combined spending in a primary.
John Brunner spent the most on his campaign with $6.9 million, followed by Eric Grietens who spent $8-million. Catherine Hanaway spent with $4.7 million and Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder spent the least with $2.5 million.
The winner of the G-O-P primary will face Democratic gubernatorial candidate Chris Koster in the November General election.
