St. Charles, MO (KTRS) The future of organized labor is riding on the November election.
That was the message at Tuesday’s Labor Rally at St. Charles Family Arena, where several Democratic candidates spoke. U.S. Senate candidate Jason Kander was among those is attendance.
“They don’t won’t so-called right to work. They don’t want paycheck deception. Let me tell you middle class Missourians aren’t clamoring for few rights and lower wages in the work place. That is not what they want.” said Kander.
State Senator Scott Sifton also spoke at the event. “The choice is very clear, We can continue to have strong protections for collective bargaining in Missouri….or we can destroy all of that and put a lot of families under water.”
More than a thousand members of organized labor attended yesterday’s rally.
