St. Louis County, MO  (KTRS)  A funeral was held over the weekend for a murdered Ferguson actitivist.

Mourners gathered to remember Darren Seals, Jr. at Greater St. Mark Family Church in north county on Saturday. Seals was found shot to death in a burned out car near Riverview High School on September 6th.

So far no arrests have been made in Seals’ murder.

Seals became active in the Ferguson protests following the fatal police shooting of Michael Brown in August of 2014.
