St. Charles County, MO  (KTRS)   All schools within the Francis Howell School District remain on a”soft lockdown.”

This is being done as a precaution while police look for a couple of suspects from an early morning shooting. Authorities say a 33-year-old man was shot around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. He’s reportedly in stable condition.

A “soft lockdown”  means no outside activities for any students and an increased vigilance for any individuals entering school buildings. We will keep you updated on this situation.
