(KTRS) – Four men now face charges connected to a fatal shooting on Interstate 270. 20-year-old John Stith was charged with first-degree murder and nine other felonies.

Prosecutors say that Stith and three other men were driving a stolen Mercedes when they pulled alongside a vehicle carrying Emma Wallace and three other people. Someone in the Mercedes started shooting, killing Wallace and injuring the other passengers.

The Post-Dispatch reports that police believe Wallace was not the target, but it was someone else in the vehicle. All four suspects in the Mercedes are held without bail.
