St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)   St. Louis firefighters are credited with rescuing two children from a burning apartment Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say the boys, ages 2 and 4, weren’t breathing when they were rescued from the apartment in the 800 block of Clara Avenue in north St. Louis. EMS crews were able to revive the children and they are expected to make a full recovery.

Fire officials say the apartment didn’t have any working smoke detectors.  There’s no word on what caused the fire.
