( KTRS ) The Ferguson City Council is looking for a council member to replace Brian Fletcher, who passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 10th.

Fletcher was elected in April as the Councilman for the Ward 2 area.

The City Council is asking interested residents to submit a completed application by 5:00 p.m. this Friday. The person appointed will fill Fletcher’s remaining term, ending in April, 2018.

Applications can be submitted on the City’s website: fergusoncity.com or dropped off at Ferguson City Hall.
