Macon, MO (KTVI) The FBI is investigating after being notified of a large quantity of pre-paid cellphones purchased at three Walmart stores in Missouri in the past week.
Fox 2 reports the purchases were made at Walmart stores in Macon, Columbia, and Lebanon. Law enforcement agencies report cellphones are potential tools in the hands of terrorists.
The devices are difficult to trace and they can be used as detonators for bombs.
