( KTRS ) An elderly woman has died after a fire at her duplex in Ellisville.
Police report that officers initially were responding to reports of a burglar alarm in the 1000 block of Ridgeway Meadow around 2 am Sunday morning. When they arrived on the scene, they saw heavy smoke coming from the home.
After fire crews doused the flames, the body of 82 yr old Phyllis Olston was discovered inside.
The cause of the fire in under investigation. No further details have been released.
