(KTRS) – Police are asking for help to find a 12-year-old north county girl who was last seen early this morning. Amerie Matney was last seen around 5 AM. She is a foster child and police say she left all of her possessions and coat at home.

She is a black female, just over 5-feet tall and around 100 pounds, with a light complexion, brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
