( KTRS ) A 93-year-old man has died from injuries he sustained after a fire at his home on Saturday.

The mans identity hasn’t been released. Investigators believe the fire started in a kitchen in the basement of the home.

The fire happened in the 800 block of Emerald Place in unincorporated St. Charles County.

An investigation is on-going.
