( KTRS ) An Edwardsville,IL. man is being extradited back to Madison County, from west Virginia, after kidnapping a teenage girl and her new born son.

On September 17th 13 yr old Katherine Derleth, and her infant son, went missing from their foster home in Madison County. They were found a week later in a remote area of West Virginia, with 39 yr old Christopher Derlerth.

He remains jailed pending his transfer and faces one count of Aggravated Kidnapping, and one count of Child Abduction. The children remain in protective custody.
