EAST ST. LOUIS (KTRS) The St. Louis Major Case Squad has been called into investigate the killing of a young mother in front of her toddler early Tuesday morning. In a release from the Major Case Squad, East St. Louis police were called to a home in the 12-hundred block of Market in East St. Louis about 4 a.m. Tuesday. They found the body of 23-year-old Alexis S. Winston inside her home. She’d been shot to death. Her daughter was not hurt.
