(KTRS) – Franklin County authorities are being credited with using a taser to subdue a woman they say was pointing a gun at officers.

Deputies say that a woman barricaded herself in a home in Villa Ridge. When the sheriff’s department entered the home, they found the woman pointing a gun toward them. An officer used the stun gun and the woman dropped the weapon.
