(KTRS) – The coroner who performed the autopsy on 3-year-old Titus Tackett says the boy died from hypothermia.

The examiner also noted that Titus had no bruises or signs of child abuse. The preliminary report states that the examiner does not see any reason why anyone would be charged with homicide at this point. Titus was found in a van near his grandfather’s house near Ironton, MO Wednesday morning. The boy had been missing since the night before.

Titus’ family believes he could have gotten into the van by himself.
