( KTRS ) Missouri Congressman William lacy Clay will be meeting with the new Ferguson Police Chief and local elected officials, for coffee, Monday morning.

The Congressman, who requested the Department of Justice investigation into the Ferguson Police Department and Municipal Court will meet with newly appointed Ferguson Police Chief Delrish Moss, at the Starbucks on West Florissant Ave.

That same area was the sight of sometimes violent protests in 2014 after the fatal police shooting of Michael Brown.

The DOJ investigation of the Ferguson Police and Municipal court led to widespread changes, both locally and nationally. The congressman says he is looking forward to a future where all citizens in Ferguson strive together for a better, more hopeful future…with equal justice under the law for all.
