ST. LOUIS ( KTRS ) St. Louis Police have released the name of the child who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on the north side Thursday night. She’s six-year-old Janell Rice of the 45-hundred block of Natural Bridge. Police say she was struck last night at the intersection of Labadie and Norwood. Police continue their search for the suspect.
This is the second time in less than a week a child was killed after being hit by a vehicle. On Sunday night, an 8-year-old boy was struck and killed by a passing vehicle in the 77-hundred block of Michigan in south St. Louis. In that case the driver remained on the scene.
