(KTRS) – The Centers for Disease Control say that Missouri has their second confirmed case of Zika virus.

The CDC says the woman, who is pregnant, recently traveled to Honduras. Health officials say that there may be a connection between pregnant women getting the virus and their children having a birth defect called microcephaly.

People are advised to consult the CDC before traveling to find a listing of all known areas of Zika transmission.
