Brentwood, MO  (KTRS)  Catherine Hanaway says it’s time to move forward.

The former Speaker of the House expressed that during her concession speech at her watch party at the Brentwood Drury Inn. “We have to come together now. We have to support Eric Greitens. We tried to defeat him mightly, but he is our Republican nominee.”

“None of you let me down. We got overwhelmed by a tidal wave that was called the outsider movement. It swept through the presidential nomination and it swept here.” added Hanaway.

Hanaway recieved the least amount of votes in Tuesday’s primary election.

Greitens will face Democratic challenger Chris Koster in the November election.
