St. Louis, MO (KTRS) Plans are moving forward in the expansion of Ballpark Village.
Early Tuesday morning, the Cardinals’ released details of the second phase of the project. The second phase includes a 29-story luxury high rise apartment complex and the first new construction of a Class A office building in downtown St. Louis since 1989.
“We are very excited about the second phase of Ballpark Village,” said Bill DeWitt III, President of the St. Louis Cardinals.
“Our vision of a mixed-use neighborhood where people live, work and play will become a reality. This is a real game-changer for the city of St. Louis and the state of Missouri.” added DeWitt.
Construction for the second phase of the $220-million project is expected to begin in 2017. A completion date is planned for 2019.
