ST. LOUIS (KTRS) Clayco Incorporated’s real estate division, CRG, has joined with the founder of Build-A-Bear, Maxine Clark, to transform the former St. Luke’s Hospital located at 5535 Delmar Boulevard into a space for St. Louis social initiatives and institutions. Called the Delmar DivINe, Clark says the project will provide a headquarters location to not-for-profit organizations and community support providers that focus on improving the lives of children and families in St. Louis.
The first phase of construction begins this November and will include approximately 180,000 square feet of workspace as well as 160 one- and two-bedroom apartments designed for young, diverse professionals. When complete the project will house over 1,000 professionals and 200-225 people will reside in the apartment building. Leasing for the non-profit office spaces has already begun.
