St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  Police are investigating after a body was found on a bike trail along bike trail near the Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge.

The discovery was made at just before 8 a.m. Friday. Police say the victim is a white male, believed to be in his 70s and appeared to be homeless. He was wearing heavy layers of clothing. Police believe the death could be heat-related.

The victim hasn’t been positively identified.
